What Happens when the KS ends?

Upon completion of the Kickstarter you will receive a receipt for the Kickstarter pledge charge. It is important for you to check this, and perhaps communicate with your bank to ensure the pledge is successful (as we will not fulfil orders due to a customers’ failed pledge).

BACKERKIT SURVEYS (SHIPPING & ADD ONS)

Once you have a successful receipt, you can rest easy knowing your pledge was recorded and collected - thank you! But things do not end there. The next thing you will need to do is complete your BackerKit Pledge-manager survey - which will open as of 21st June 2021. In this survey you will be able to include any add on you like, and this is where we will charge shipping. Please note: we will only deliver to backers who both; 1) Successfully pledge to a tier, and 2) Successfully pay for shipping inside of the BackerKit survey.

OPTIONAL - EARLY-FULFILMENT: Campaign Guide & Players Guide Products

As of the 14th June 2021, we will be launching a once-off opportunity for backers to receive their Previous Grim Hollow add ons/products early (Campaign Guide, and Players Guide products – see the “add on” graphic). We’ll have a website live for 1 week exactly (from 14th June, 7:00PM – 21st June, 6:59PM AEDT) which will feature the Previous Grim Hollow add ons at the prices listed on the “Grim Hollow: Monster Grimoire” Kickstarter page. Please remember, this is non-essential - and entirely optional. Want your Campaign Guide (CG) and Players Guide (PG) products this year? Use the site. Want to wait and have your CG & PG products arrive with your Monster Grimoire pledge? Wait for your BackerKit survey to be sent out on June 21st 2021. More details will be provided in future updates, and backers will also be emailed ahead of time.

How do I get add ons?

You will be asked which add ons you want to add to your order inside your BackerKit survey, and all add ons can be managed here. Just make sure you have an active pledge inside Kickstarter when the Campaign ends, and you will have access to our add-on pledge manager.

If you want your Campaign Guide & Players Guide add ons shipped early (see; “What happens when the Kickstarter ends?” question) please do NOT over pledge inside of Kickstarter for these add ons.

How do I pay for shipping?

After inputting your postal address to the BackerKit survey, your shipping cost will be automatically calculated. You will be asked to input your card information on the next step of the survey. We will proceed to charge cards at a later date.

Am I eligible for the Stretch Goals?

If you have backed a tier that contains physical products you will be eligible for all stretch goals! If you backed the PDF tier you will be eligible for digital versions of stretch goals, but you won’t receive physical versions of stretch goals.

In addition, some stretch goals may be available as an additional ‘Add-On’ and will be an added cost. This will be specified in the stretch goal updates and available through backer kit.

Are all Stretch Goals free?

Stretch goals are our way of giving back to the community – however, due to the scope of some products and goals, not all will be free. Please check the Stretch Goal graphic for confirmation – any stretch goals with “(add on)” require additional amount.

MINIATURES FAQ

After dipping the toes in the water with developing our customisable miniature sets inside the Players Guide project, we are so excited to be diving in and offer a whole range of miniature products in association with the Monster Grimoire!

The scale used is 28mm (to eyes). “Regular” miniatures will be 28mm in height (give or take a few mm) – however the “Ghouls” will be closer to 20mm in height. “Large” miniatures will be ~55mm in height, however the Caprathorns will be “shorter”, and much “longer” as they are quadrupeds. The “Daemon Oak” will be slightly taller than 100mm at its tallest point, and the “Chiropteran Behemoth” will be roughly 40mm in height, and 90mm in diameter (however we are looking into making this a more engaging, encounter-ready pose!).

Regular Boxes:

If your pledge states “1x Regular Box” then you will be able to select your preferred box inside your BackerKit survey from the following list. If your pledge states “All Regular Boxes” then you will receive all the following boxes: • Zombie box • Human Cultists • Bug Bears • The Hurrock • Ghouls

Contents will arrive on a sprue, and without assembly and painting (backers will need to assemble and paint miniatures themselves). Each “Regular” miniature box will come in a box of 10 miniatures (2 copies of 5 unique designs). We have created these miniatures on sprues to enable the ability to create variety across all 10 miniature designs – so even though there is a “copy”, all miniatures can be made to feature individual variations.

Products will also include their own assembly guide to assist the assembly.

Large Boxes:

If your pledge states “1x Large Box” then you will be able to select your preferred box inside your BackerKit survey from the following list. If your pledge states “All Large Boxes” then you will receive all the following boxes: • Fire Devils • Zombie Trolls • Caprathorns

Contents will arrive on a sprue, and without assembly and painting (backers will need to assemble and paint miniatures themselves). Each “Large” miniature box will come in a box of 3 miniatures. We have created these miniatures on sprues to enable the inclusion of additional arm variations that will also be included with each box.

Products will also include their own assembly guide to assist the assembly.

Gigantic Boxes:

If your pledge states “1x Gigantic Box” then you will be able to select your preferred box inside your BackerKit survey from the following options. If your pledge states “All Gigantic Boxes” then you will receive both the following boxes: • Daemon Oak • Chiropteran Behemoth

Contents will arrive on a sprue, and without assembly and painting (backers will need to assemble and paint miniatures themselves). Each “Gigantic” miniature will feature some additional pieces which backers can select to either include or not include in their design. For example, the Daemon Oak will have vines/roots you can select that do not feature the boars (as referenced on the story page) – as boars are not in every (or most) encounters!

Products will also include their own assembly guide to assist the assembly.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS FAQ

Monster Cards:

There are 5x Monster Card Sets, each with ~80 monsters (depending on the SG’s we unlock!). If your pledge states “1x Monster Card set” then you will be able to select your preferred set inside your BackerKit survey. A detailed list of which monsters are inside each set will be made available to backers on or before the survey send date (21st June 2021).

If your pledge states “All Monster Card Sets” you will receive all sets in your delivery, including all of the additional monsters unlocked in Stretch Goals. Cards will be 2.75 x 4.75” in size, made of high-quality card and line with film to allow for writing with a marker.

Card Binder:

This card binder is slightly larger than “book-size” and features card pockets which will perfectly match with the size of our “Monster Cards”. The cover is leather, and will feature the Grim Hollow special edition art with foiling.

Map Set (collection of Maps):

A minimum of 10x large “poster-style” maps for use inside key encounters you’ll experience. Each map will arrive in high quality poster paper, with full colour art. There will be no need to get the markers out and draw your surrounds with these ready to play maps!

Trinket Collection:

A set of 4 unique trinkets salvaged from the land of Etharis. These trinkets are: • A Witches Poppet • Danxoni’s Eye • Talisman of Brimstone • Eldritch Larve

These trinkets serve no utility at the table, apart from making it look darker, and more interesting. They’re also perfect for decoration on your desk or book shelf.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
